As you may/ may not know, I am the administrator and owner of this forum. But in this, my first entry, I will tell you more about me.
The Early Years
When I was a baby, my mom tells me I followed her everywhere. I would just sit there and look at her as she held me for hours. She also tells me I was a fast learner. These were good years. We had a decent house, I had my own tv, it was great. But then at the age of 3, my parents got divorced. I went to Amelia daycare, a daycare center owned by my grandmother. That's where many of my cousins went. After a few years, my grandmother drove me to school in the daycare van. I want to St. Rosalie, a Catholic school in Louisiana for many years, as most of my family on my fathers side had.
Elementary School
At about second grade, or so I believe, my mom took me out of St. Rosalie and into Pittman Elementary. After 2 years there, I went to Bridge City elementary for fifth grade. I was on the A B honor roll all year and as such was given the privilege of going on the honor roll field trips.
The Storm that Took it Away
You have no doubt heard of hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans. It tore apart families. It simply moved us apart. While my mom's house was standing and near scarless, my dad's was torn to shreds. I used to only see my dad on the weekends and wished I could see him more. Did that wish backfire. My dad and step mom were moved to Georgia, along with my baby brother, so I had to go. It's my brotherly duty to look after him and teach him. So now, instead of the hour drive between houses, I now live 8 hours away from my mom.
The Aftermath
For the first several months, half the school year, I lived in a hotel with my dad, step mom, and little brother. We then moved into an apartment, and then finally settled in the house I'm typing in.
The Post-Aftermath
I got a computer, a tv, a ds, and all kinds of other things within the first year. It moves fast too. Finished seventh grade today. I'll be at my moms house all summer, so don't get your hopes up, though it is a possibility I'll update from there.
Interests
I enjoy any and everything electronic, from computers to iPods. I enjoy working with 3-D modeling. I've made a model of my room with all the furniture, doorknobs, walls, carpet, and posters. But, on top of all, wolves and Siberian Huskies. I dream of having a Husky puppy. As you can imagine, I have one on Nintendogs.
